Retired, cand.scient. (M.Sc.) in biochemistry (University of Copenhagen), has worked as a research toxicologist at the Institute of Toxicology (National Food Agency), in regulatory affairs at the Danish Environmental Protection Agency, as Safety, Health & Environment manager of ICI Danmark AS, as Senior Advisor for Food & Environment in Dansk Industri (the principal Employers Corporation), and as an assistant to the Director of the Danish National Environmental Research Institute. Member of Academie Internationale Heraldique, former secretary of Societas Scandinavica Heraldica, editor of several medieval armorials, has published papers on several topics of heraldry.
